Phyllis Huggett, a North Caldwell artist, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in textile design. For many years she worked as a Color Stylist and Designer of prints for women’s fashion in major textile companies in New York city.

More recently, she has been experimenting in the Fine Arts with a vast array of media, styles and techniques. Her small collages, seen in this exhibit were created from fragments of her oil paintings on mylar. She calls them her re-inventions.
